Role You Will Play:
This position requires an industry specialist who knows the ins and outs of purchasing. He/she needs to know where to find product and vendors for specific purchases including Lumber, Plywood, Specialty Products, etc. The overall goal of the Purchasing Manager is to lead the purchasing department in a way that contributes to the successful operation of all departments and consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values. The Purchasing Manager performs the essential functions of the job in order to achieve the department goals, within Company policies and procedures (including human resources, training, customer service, sales, marketing, inventory control, financial performance, delivery of goods and service, inter-department coordination, communications, safety, and security).
