Purchasing Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support day-to-day purchasing and inventory activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career to gain hands-on experience with purchasing, planning, and ERP systems while working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and quality teams.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders to support production needs
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish materials based on system recommendations
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders and track deliveries
- Support sourcing decisions using approved vendors, pricing, and lead times
- Analyze usage trends and planning signals to maintain proper inventory levels
- Resolve supplier, delivery, or quality issues in coordination with internal teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing with production needs
- Maintain accurate data in ERP system (Syteline)
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred
- Basic understanding of inventory, purchasing, or material planning
- ERP system and Excel experience (Syteline a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset
