Job Description

We are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support day-to-day purchasing and inventory activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career to gain hands-on experience with purchasing, planning, and ERP systems while working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and quality teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage purchase orders to support production needs
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish materials based on system recommendations
  • Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders and track deliveries
  • Support sourcing decisions using approved vendors, pricing, and lead times
  • Analyze usage trends and planning signals to maintain proper inventory levels
  • Resolve supplier, delivery, or quality issues in coordination with internal teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing with production needs
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP system (Syteline)

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred
  • Basic understanding of inventory, purchasing, or material planning
  • ERP system and Excel experience (Syteline a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills and team-oriented mindset
