Job DescriptionGRC Executive is conducting a search for a Purchasing Consultant to support a specialized consulting group focused on delivering significant cost savings and procurement improvements across a portfolio of client companies. Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed cost and category analyses to identify savings opportunities and operational improvements.

Lead procurement and sourcing efforts across a wide range of spend categories.

Collaborate with internal and client-side leadership to align procurement initiatives with broader business goals.

Negotiate commercial terms and manage vendor relationships to maximize value and mitigate risk.

Implement supplier performance frameworks and category management strategies.

Track and report procurement KPIs to drive sustainable cost control.

Utilize sourcing and procurement tools to support operational excellence.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or category management (industry and/or consulting).

Proven track record of cost savings, vendor optimization, and process improvements.
-
Strong understanding of procurement best practices and benchmarking methodologies.
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and executive-level reporting.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience in private equity portfolio operations or procurement consulting.

Proficiency with procurement platforms (SAP, Ariba, Coupa) and analytics tools.

Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software.

Exposure to sectors like healthcare, industrials, logistics, or technology.
-
Background in B2B industries is highly desirable.
