Public Health Representative 2
East Tennessee
APN Staffing is now hiring for a Public Health Representative in East Tennessee. This is a long-term contract position until April of 2024. Hybrid role with office hours of Monday-Friday (8:00 am to 4:30 pm) Hourly rate of pay is $19.12 an hour.
General Job Responsibilities:
Act as liaison between departments and local communities
Establish and maintain relationships with community members and organizations, including schools
Engage with community members and organizations in education and community service work
Facilitate listening sessions and summarize findings
Present information at meetings in a culturally appropriate manner
Identify the needs of community members and resources to meet these needs
Communicate community needs to the department and other partners
Collect and maintain administrative and community data in a confidential manner consistent with department policy
Foster stronger partnerships with other departments in government, among community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and community partners and stakeholders
May attend events within the community, including those that occur after hours and on weekends
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred (e.g., social work, psychology, public health, behavioral health, public policy)
