Our client is a Behavioral health hospital that provides crisis stabilization for acute behavioral and psychiatric disorders, as well as treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. Their multi-disciplinary team works with the patient, family, and community providers to create a plan of care designed to meet the patient’s individual needs.

Our client seeks a tenured Psychiatric RN to join their team

Details on the position:

• 114 bed hospital.
• Average census 80-90.
• average staff to patient ration is 1:5.
• 3 12 hour shifts.
• Nurse Manager on each unit.
• House Supervisor at night.
• CEO is a licensed Psychologist.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• licensed to practice in the state of Washington as an RN.
• Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and successful completion of crisis intervention training including restraint and seclusion policies, within 10 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures. Mental Health Professional acknowledgement from DBHR when eligible.
