What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the community and ensure company standards are consistently met
  • Manage leasing activities and ensure strong occupancy performance
  • Collect, post, and track rent payments using property management software (OneSite)
  • Manage delinquency process, including notices, collections, and eviction filings when necessary
  • Ensure all LIHTC and affordable housing recertifications are completed accurately and on time
  • Review rental applications for accuracy and compliance
  • Process lease renewals and support resident retention efforts
  • Oversee maintenance work orders and ensure timely resolution of resident requests
  • Conduct daily property inspections to ensure curb appeal and property standards are maintained
  • Review daily reports related to occupancy, vacancies, notices, and collections
  • Lead resident relations efforts and community engagement activities
  • Support marketing efforts to maintain strong traffic and high occupancy levels (98%–100% target)
  • Assist with unit turns, inspections, and file audits
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the success of the community

What We’re Looking For

  • LIHTC / Affordable Housing experience REQUIRED
  • Proven success managing apartment communities with strong occupancy and collections performance
  • Experience with leasing, marketing, and resident retention strategies
  • Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance, including recertifications and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Prior property management experience in multifamily housing required
