An established mechanical contractor in the Denver metro area is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to expand its client base and drive revenue through service agreements and preventative maintenance contracts. This role focuses on building long-term partnerships with commercial clients in industries ranging from high-rise construction to property management.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in direct B2B sales within HVAC, plumbing, construction, or related mechanical services. This position offers a competitive compensation package with on-target earnings ranging from $106,000 to $126,000, depending on experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively prospect and cold call potential clients across the construction, real estate, and facilities management sectors.

Sell service agreements and preventative maintenance solutions to both new and existing clients.

Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, estimates, and scopes of work that align with client needs.

Manage all sales activities in a CRM system to maintain visibility, accountability, and deal tracking.

Conduct site visits, attend project meetings, and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process.

Build strong relationships with operations teams to ensure successful service execution and client satisfaction.

Maintain accurate records of contracts, pricing, and renewal timelines.

Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within your client base.

Track and meet key performance indicators including revenue targets, client retention, and lead conversions.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in HVAC, mechanical, or construction-related industries.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, service contracts, and solution-based selling.

Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and the sales lifecycle.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized and self-motivated with a focus on building trust and value with clients.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary plus commission structure with OTE of $106,000 to $126,000 annually.
