Project Operations Manager

Mark-A-Lot Inc., a well-established family-owned pavement marking corporation leader since 1969, seeks
a results-oriented Project Operations Manager to join our growing team. If you combine Project Management

You will:
· Play a critical role in managing all parts of the project management process. Make sure that each project is
organized, running according to plan, within budget, and meets the client's expectations.
· He/she will be responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of jobs, ensuring work crews are working
safely, meeting expectations, and providing quality work. Excellent communication and team leadership skills
are key elements of this role.
· Make an impact by leading the successful setup, scheduling, and management of projects through clear
effective communication, driving timelines, and interacting with internal and external teams, while ensuring a high
level of customer service.

More specifically, you will:

· Directly perform customer service functions and provide support to the overall project team from an office
setting.
· Assist in the preparation, coordination, and scheduling of work crews for all the jobs performed in the field
· Manage multiple project life cycles; monitoring progress, job change orders, and ensuring proper job
completion for closeout/billing
· Read plans/blueprints, project documents, contracts, and other related material for the scope of work
· Identify and anticipate any scheduling disparities and work with Filed Supervisor/owner to resolve
· Evaluate field change orders or project deviations to assess schedule and scope impact for proper decision
making
· Manage project documents and correspondence such as sub-contracts, purchase orders, and vendors
· Create and maintain paper / electronic project files while ensuring they are saved securely according to
company policy
· Work directly with project teams, managers, and executives as directed to achieve departmental goals
· Participate in project and/or team meetings as needed
· Assist with daily planning of schedules, meetings, sales appointments, and executive calendar management.
· Participate in the implementation of new procedures, software, etc.
· Support HR/payroll with tracking field attendance, training /certificate requirements, and participate in
collective progressive discipline for field employees when needed
· Perform other duties as assigned

To be a strong fit for our Project Operations Manager opportunity, you will have:

· Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or related field of study, or the equivalent experience
· Minimum of three (2) years of project management experience, including a client service role
· Asphalt, Pavement, line Marking, or Construction related industry experience is highly preferred, but not
required
· Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
· Ability to lead teams, provide oversight and development to supporting staff to accomplish organizational and
company goals
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· OSHA/safety certification and/or training experience is preferred
· Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite
· Salesforce experience a plus
· Experience/comfort with construction/estimating software systems
