Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for launching major projects on time per the customer’s project timing, expectations and within the prescribed financial parameters.

• Establishes work plan in resource planning tool
• Provides engineering with development with assistance for new and existing programs
• Tracks overall project timing and financials on a weekly basis
• Verifies that all manufacturing issues are resolved
• Maintains program related communications with other company locations
• Maintains customer’s planning process
• Coordinates Quality and Engineering improvement activities

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in automotive product or process development
• Design and project leadership skills
• Involvement in teamwork internally and with customers
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
