Project Manager - Deep Foundations

Location: Remote/jobsite-based. Extensive travel required to large projects nationwide, with assignments lasting 6 months to 1.5 years.

Compensation: $125,000 base salary + truck allowance + per diem.

Role Overview: Lead complex deep foundation projects, ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality work. Manage multiple crews, subcontractors, and client relationships on large-scale jobs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and execute projects involving displacement piling, CFA piling, shoring, and soil mixing.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Supervise superintendents, crews, and subcontractors to meet technical specifications and client expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, plans, specifications, and permits.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, logistics, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct quality assurance, progress reporting, and risk management.
  • Participate in bid preparation, project startup, and client/progress meetings.
  • Resolve field issues and report to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience in deep foundations or heavy civil construction.
  • Proven expertise in displacement piling, CFA piling, shoring, and soil mixing.
  • Strong track record managing large, multi-state projects with durations over 6 months.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively and adapt to varying site conditions.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software, cost control, and reporting.
