Project Manager
Harbinger has partnered with a reputable and well known Construction company in Kitchener/Waterloo area. Client offers a complete range of construction services, including design-build, construction management, and project management. We are looking for individuals who want a dynamic career in the construction industry. The applicant will be solely responsible for managing all aspects of ICI projects.
The Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering successful projects. We are a leading company in the industry, specializing in Construction. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project success through effective planning, execution, and team management. The role will be in office in the Kitchener/Waterloo area as well as travel to project sites.
Duties
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Manage project resources, including budgeting, scheduling, and allocation of tasks to team members.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Reviewing shop drawings
- Updating Schedules on Microsoft Project
- Taking meeting minutes using Procore Software
- Tracking RFI's and site instructions using Procore Software
- Change order management
- Management of the overall project budget
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Construction Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in time management and leading project teams to successful outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of Budgeting principles and experience managing project finances effectively.
- Proficiency in requirements management methodologies to ensure project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
- Familiarity with project management software such as ProCore, MS project, Bluebeam.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Sound computer skills - MS Office, Timberline
- Self-motivated with good organizational skills
- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines
- Ability to work with others as a team
- 5 years experience managing ICI projects over $10 million in value
