About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a privately held packaging manufacturer at an exciting stage of growth and transformation. With three manufacturing sites and a leadership team focused on building for the future, the company is investing in stronger structure, better processes, and long-term operational success.
This is a newly created role designed to help build and standardize project management across the business. The work will span new product development, facility enhancements, equipment installations, and continuous improvement efforts. It’s a strong fit for someone who enjoys creating order, driving accountability, and leading cross-functional work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do

Define project scope, goals, timelines, deliverables, and success measures.

Build and manage detailed project plans, including resources and budgets.

Track progress through dashboards, action registers, meetings, and KPIs.

Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, department leaders, and stakeholders.

Oversee equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations.

Support product and equipment qualification through standardized processes.

Partner with operations on production ramp-up activities.

Help establish a Stage Gate process for New Product Development.

Create and standardize a project management process across project types.

Preferred Experience & Attributes

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar technical discipline.

5–7 years of direct project management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong skills in project planning, MS Project, and MS Office.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Self-motivated, ambitious, and able to work with limited direction.

Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.

Power BI and statistical analysis experience are a plus.

Injection molding, paper converting, or printing experience is beneficial.

PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
