Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing general contractor specializing in self-perform concrete and masonry construction, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, financial acumen, and proven leadership in managing multiple concurrent projects from pre-construction through completion. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of project management for large-scale self-perform concrete and masonry construction projects.

  • Lead project teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and quality-driven delivery of all assigned work.

  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with client and company standards.

  • Collaborate with estimating and pre-construction teams to develop budgets, schedules, and work plans.

  • Manage procurement, subcontractor coordination, and vendor relationships to ensure project milestones are achieved.

  • Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, engineers, and field teams to anticipate and resolve project challenges.

  • Track project progress, costs, and documentation using construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).

  • Uphold the highest standards of safety and risk management on all job sites.

  • Provide mentorship and leadership to project engineers and site supervisors to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5–10 years of experience in project management within a general contracting or self-perform environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale concrete or masonry construction projects.

  • Strong working knowledge of construction principles, drawings, and specifications.

  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore and Bluebeam.

Preferred:

  • Advanced knowledge of concrete construction methods and materials.

  • Experience in pre-construction planning, estimating, and cost forecasting.

  • Strong financial and budgeting skills with a focus on cost control and profitability.

  • Background in safety management and risk mitigation strategies.
