Construction Engineer/Project Manager for a commercial construction company. The company is seeking someone to do estimating, change orders, and other construction engineer type of duties. They want someone with pretty good level of experience or even that has a Civil Engineering degree or someone that has hands on engineering with a construction company, they need someone that also has estimating background. This contractor does a lot of work with small commercial jobs like stores and restaurants and City and County and State projects. The position will need someone with a lot of sub-contractors experience. The right person will have a lot of experience pushing and working with Sub-contractors to make sure they are on time and meeting specs.
This company also has a lot of work so the opportunity for long term employment is real good. Someone with excellent communication skills both verbal and written would be very important. They really need someone that can do change order, estimating and other engineering duties that are part of a construction engineer department. They have a long term contract with a large commercial office building to do new tenet improvements and renovation work. They will be doing a lot of concrete adjustment work.
