Job Description

We are partnered with a precision manufacturer producing complex, tight-tolerance components and assemblies for highly regulated industries. They partner with customers from concept through production, delivering safe, high-quality solutions through strong engineering, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead customer programs from order receipt through final delivery in a build-to-print manufacturing environment. This role serves as the primary customer liaison and coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead customer programs from contract review through final shipment, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring clear communication of scope, expectations, and deliverables
  • Review customer drawings, specifications, and contracts to confirm manufacturability, technical feasibility, compliance requirements, and accurate scope definition
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans including schedules, milestones, resources, and deliverables for build-to-print parts and assemblies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Logistics to ensure alignment and on-time execution
  • Monitor project performance against cost, schedule, and quality targets; proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions
  • Manage change orders, drawing revisions, and customer-driven scope changes while assessing impact to timeline and budget
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, and customer updates throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure all products and processes meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and AS9100/QMS compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management preferred
  • 5+ years project management or product development experience
  • Strong manufacturing or process engineering background
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or aerospace/AS9100 experience a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
