Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to oversee commercial ground-up construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, working closely with VDC Engineers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project execution from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with VDC Engineers and Superintendents to manage design, scheduling, and site operations.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, contract requirements, and building codes.
  • Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and change orders to ensure profitability.
  • Utilize project management software to track progress, budgets, and documentation.
  • Conduct regular site visits and collaborate with field teams to resolve construction challenges.
  • Lead project meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and ensure smooth communication across all teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 consecutive years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial ground-up construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project).
  • Hands-on approach – willing to work in the trenches and engage directly with field teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate across departments.
