Project Manager – Large-Scale Vertical Construction

This role is for someone who likes owning projects, solving problems in real time, and seeing their work turn into schools, municipal buildings, and facilities that serve real people — not just another luxury box in the sky.

You’ll manage complex vertical projects from early buyout through closeout, working alongside experienced project teams in an environment that moves fast but stays organized. If you’re the type who wants responsibility, mentorship, and a clear runway to senior leadership — this is built for you.

Much of the work is public-sector construction: schools, community buildings, and essential facilities. These are projects you can drive past years from now and say, “I helped build that.” There’s a quiet pride in that.

Just as important: there’s genuine room to grow here. Strong performers don’t sit still. This is a place where Project Managers develop into Senior PMs and Project Executives — not someday, but with intention.

What you’ll actually be doing

You’ll take ownership of the core mechanics of the job, including:

  • Managing subcontractor and supplier buyouts

  • Running submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation

  • Soliciting pricing and issuing RFPs

  • Handling owner and subcontractor change orders

  • Tracking material procurement and keeping schedules honest

  • Resolving field and project issues before they become problems

  • Coordinating with internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly

  • Building strong working relationships with subs, owners, and your project team

In short: you’ll help steer the ship.

What we’re looking for

  • 5–10 years in construction, with hands-on project management experience

  • Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar background (helpful, not mandatory)

  • Organized, communicative, and steady under pressure

  • Someone who takes pride in their work and shows up for their team

If you’re collaborative, detail-driven, and ready for more responsibility — you’ll fit right in.

Why this role is worth your time

  • Competitive salary and full benefits

  • Clear growth path into senior leadership

  • Large, meaningful public projects that serve local communities

  • Structured teams and organized project delivery

  • A company that invests in its people, not just its backlog

This isn’t about chasing titles. It’s about building a career while building projects that matter.
