JOB SUMMARY: Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, completion, and financial outcome of assigned projects.
DUTIES:
• Be responsible for mentoring and managing team members, time management, and developing client relationships. You are the main contact with Owner, Architect and Engineers on your projects.
• Be responsible in delivering a profitable project in accordance to financial standards.
• Be responsible for adherence to project schedule including participation in development and regular updates with project superintendent(s).
• Be responsible for client management throughout procurement, construction and post-construction processes.
• Promote project culture and lead processes that are consistent with RCA values.
• Evaluate information and analyze problems logically to develop solutions. Express ideas clearly to others.
• Inspect the work of all Superintendents, field personnel, and subcontractors to ensure the quality and safety standards are being met.
• Maintain knowledge of all OSHA standards. Ensure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Document all violations and notify upper management, then recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
• Review estimates and proposals once the project is turned over from estimating.
• Review and interpret the contract documents and verify they do not deviate from the architectural drawings e.g. dimensions for connections, suitable thickness of door frames, etc.
• Be responsible for buyout, award, and writing contracts/purchase orders.
• Be responsible for developing and distributing the project schedule.
• Be responsible for submittal receipt and approval.
• The main goal after submittals is focusing on budget, schedule, and production.
• Review, Complete and submit monthly pay applications.
• Be responsible for tracking/implementing all change events.
