Project Manager (building infrastructure)

The company is a multinational, high profile service provider with a large portfolio of properties.

They are looking for a Project Manager who will manage and oversee the following types of projects, from conception to handover, using external engineering consultants and contractors:
  • New buildings
  • Refurbishments and upgrades of existing buildings
  • Building renovations
  • Electrical and mechanical installations and upgrades

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
  • Project Management
  • Manage financial aspects of projects
  • Manage project related risks
  • Manage project related information
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Performance and Quality Management


ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

NQF level 6 (Bachelor Degree or Bachelor of Technology) in Project Management / Engineering / Architecture


ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

10 years in project/infrastructure related environment of which at least five years is direct project management related.


REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Analytic and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures related to Project Management
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of Healthcare infrastructure
  • Knowledge and exposure to Contract Management
  • Financial management skills
  • Knowledge and experience of strategic management
  • Microsoft Office suit, including Microsoft Project
  • Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and statuary requirements


LOCATION:

Stellenbosch, Western Cape


REMUNERATION:

R71 000 - R84 000 per month gross salary (depending on experience) + Medical Aid subsidy + 9 % of basic salary Retirement Fund Contribution.
