The Capacity Planning Operations Technician Associate Project Manager will plan equipment and data capacity for a Hyperscale Data Center in Lithia Springs, GA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the data center team, you will help plan and manage data center machine deployments. Recognize process inefficiencies and suggest improvements. Escalate to senior team members as needed for advanced issues. Analyze, organize, and present team performance metrics.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Project manage dependencies within networking and data center power domains.

  • Utilize capacity management tools for space, power, cooling, and networking to integrate new IT equipment into data center environments.

  • Organize data center deployment data.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience.

Prior Project Management experience is preferred.


CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
