Salary: $110,000 - $160,000
Our client, a multidisciplinary engineering, planning, survey, and design consultancy, is seeking an experienced Land Survey Project Manager to lead a team and deliver high-quality land surveying services. This role is based in the DC or Fairfax County office.

In this role, you will partner with senior leadership to oversee project delivery, budgeting, and billing; ensure efficient project execution; maintain clear client communication; and support business development through strong relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, tracking, and maintenance of the project schedule to ensure deliverables are completed to ensure client expectations are met.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between clients, supervisors and peers, members of the design team for your projects, survey technicians, and/or field crews.
- Utilize accounting and project management systems to prepare client invoices and to understand, and improve project fiscal performance.
- Lead and oversee the preparation of construction stakeout layouts and of cut sheets for field staff.
- Lead and oversee the development of topographical surfaces.
- Serve as the lead in the development of survey drawings.
- Develop and nurture important client and strategic partner relationships.
- Be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be resourceful using references, design guides, and precedent examples from prior jobs to creatively solve problems.
- Complete tasks on schedule and within budget with proper documentation on timesheets.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 + years of experience within the land survey field.
- Expertise in the engineering fundamentals related to land survey and site/civil engineering.
- Licensed Land Surveyor (LS).
- Strong knowledge of land surveying regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Exemplary teamwork, interpersonal, and project management skills.
