Location: Travel within the NCR
Salary – $58,000 - $60,000
Benefits – Health/Dental/RRSP
Hours – Monday – Friday – 8-4:30
Vacation – 2 weeks

A well-established construction firm serving government, commercial, and industrial markets is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join its growing team. Known for tackling complex builds with innovative solutions, the company uses in-house trades to deliver a wide range of specialized services. Projects include high-security environments, community centres, bridge replacements, pumping stations, and office fit-ups—both locally and internationally.
Position Summary:
The Junior Project Manager will assist in coordinating and managing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Working under the guidance of senior project staff, this role is ideal for someone eager to grow within a dynamic and solution-oriented team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, execution, and tracking of construction projects.
- Assist with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and internal trades to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress.
- Identify and help resolve issues or delays in a proactive manner.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a construction or project coordination role is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
