We are growing in the Columbus, OH area and have an excellent opportunity for a Construction Project Manager to join our Concrete Structures team. As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring construction projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your Responsibilities In This Role

  • Primary representative of Dugan & Meyers on each project who is responsible for every phase of the project's operation and completion
  • Serves as the company liaison with co-workers, clients, and project stakeholders to seamlessly coordinate and effectively communicate the flow of information
  • Initiates cost control and reporting procedures in conjunction with the Estimating and Accounting teams
  • Manages financial aspects of contracts, including change orders, contractor and supplier payments, equipment rentals, back charges, etc. Prepares monthly financial projections for leadership review
  • Works with the Corporate Safety Director and Regional Safety Manager to ensure the project's safety program is carried out and established
  • Formulates goals and objectives for the project and actively manages the project schedule including the critical path and all the milestones to ensure project goals are exceeded or met
  • Coordinates staffing requirements and actively serves as a mentor for the project's team

What You Need To Qualify

  • 5-7 years of relative job experience - experience in the construction of the following concrete structures is highly preferred: multi-story structures, including parking garages, Multi-Family Residential, Office, Commercial, Hospitality, and Institutional, as well as Data Centers, Industrial Facilities, etc..
  • Knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management with a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices
  • BS degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to coach, train and mentor others
  • Highly collaborative work style with excellent communication skills, tact, and diplomacy are essential
