Position: Project Manager - Land Development
We are looking for a driven professional to join our clietns expanding team focused on designing the communities where we live, work, and play. Ideal candidates will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office, a robust work ethic, and the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
As a Project Manager, you will leverage your land development expertise and design knowledge to lead and manage innovative projects. This includes preparing site layouts, grading plans, utility and landscape designs, as well as stormwater management and soil erosion control strategies. You will also be responsible for securing local, state, and federal approvals and permits for various projects. Experience with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP), Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), and municipal ordinance requirements is essential. Our ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or landscape architecture and have a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) license in Pennsylvania or be on the path to licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage land development projects from conception through completion.
- Prepare detailed site layout, grading, utility, and landscape plans.
- Design stormwater management systems and implement soil erosion and sediment control measures.
- Obtain necessary local, state, and federal permits and approvals.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure project compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in land development.
- PE or RLA license or in the process of obtaining licensure.
- Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
- Proven project management experience in land development is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
