ABOUT YOU

This is your opportunity to join a fast growing, highly experienced team on the ground floor of an up and coming heavy civil structure construction company in California. You will be able to grow with the company and be integral to our successes. You will be able to help develop a project team that will support the project to succeed in every facet of project management with your administrative and technical direction. As Project Manager, you and your project team will be responsible for the successful construction of our projects. You will work closely with construction managers, area managers, superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, utility companies and local, state and federal agencies to ensure the delivery of our projects on time and under budget. Safety is your first priority.

MUST HAVES

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Heavy Civil Construction Industry
• A minimum of 3 years supervising and mentoring others
• In depth knowledge of construction contracts, public code and construction law
• Educated in construction accounting
• Exceptional computer skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively plan and organize to meet project goals
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong work ethic
• Developed problem solving ability
• Willing to work at the project work site as well as in the office
• Be a team player
