Position Responsibilities
The Private Bank Program Management Team manages cross-divisional, cross-product, and firm-wide initiatives and budget on behalf of MSPBNA, partnering with senior management to analyze and assess current strategic capital investment strategies. The role is multi-faceted, offering the opportunity to take ownership for, and contribute to, the business management and program management for Strategic Initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with MSPBNA groups as well as other stakeholders that support the Private Bank. The role requires the candidate to have an understanding of budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting, project management fundamentals, process analysis and design best practices. The candidate must also be able to analyze the commercial impact of business decisions.
Business Management
• Establish, approve and maintain budgets (e.g. technology, non-comp, headcount) working with key business partners – Finance, Vendor Management, Human Resources, Legal, Product and Support teams
• Vendor task order work flow – initiation to execution
• Coordinate onboarding and off boarding efforts for PBG vendor staffing
• Monthly budget reporting inclusive of forecasting
• Ad hoc analytics and reporting in support of PBG Strategic agenda
• Process optimization

Program Management
• Track and report status on cross-divisional projects
• Work with the stakeholders to drive milestones to timely execution
• Risk / Issue / Dependency detection, escalation and tracking until resolution

Relationship Management
• Develop an effective network of relationships across divisions
• Influence and collaborate effectively with project resources not in the same reporting line to achieve common goals

Skills Required
• Five to Seven years business management, project / program management experience
• Experience working with 3rd party service providers
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and a creative and flexible approach to problem solving
• Problem solving and strategizing capabilities

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work
• Organized and keen attention to detail

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Fluency with MS Office tools, including Excel and Power Point

Skills Desired
• Strong understanding of corporate software delivery methodologies inclusive of waterfall and agile
• Experience in the Wealth Management industry
• Consulting experience for financial services industry clients
