Project Estimator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator. As a Project Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing construction projects, determining costs, and providing accurate estimates. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements
- Utilize construction estimating software to create detailed estimates
- Research and gather information on materials
- Prepare and submit bid proposals to clients
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and identify areas for cost control
- Participate in project meetings to provide expertise on cost estimation

Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in the metal roof industry
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
