Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • The Project Engineer will develop and manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets in accordance with company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards throughout all phases of the project.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage project resources, including staff, equipment, and materials.
  • Track and report project progress, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Communicate project status-updates to stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and other project-related documentation.
  • Mentor and train junior project managers and team members.
  • Relocation provided. $130K-$175K.

Requirements
  • The Project Engineer will have a BS degree with an engineering major and 10+ years experience in capital project management within a chemical manufacturing facility.
  • Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety and environmental compliance regulations.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
