Requirements
- The Project Engineer will have project objectives which include cost, schedule and functionality for project investments of of $1M to $5M and may execute projects up to $10M.
- Championing the scope development process to ensure completeness of basic engineering, while seeking opportunities to add through the application of Value Based Engineering.
- Overseeing the Change Management process and maintaining focus on safety in the development of project concepts and during execution.
- Working with the Project Team to develop execution and contracting strategies to effectively meet objectives.
- Maintain a safe and productive workplace as you ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and technical standards.
- Ensures all the required EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) reviews are held, and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements are incorporated into the facility design and installation.
- Engages Process Hazard Analysis experts when needed.
- Understands Front-End Loading (FEL) process.
- Relocation provided. $110K-$135K
Requirements
- The Project Engineer will have a BS degree with an engineering major.
- 3+ or more years of project engineering experience in a chemical, petrochemical or refinery.
- A proven track record of executing multiple small to medium size capital projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of project management processes and project execution best practices.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
