About Our Client

Our client, a professional services firm located in downtown Toronto, is looking to hire a Project Coordinator for a Permanent Full Time position.

Responsibilities:

- Developing and ensuring accurate portfolio management and executive reporting.
- Completing financial analysis and monitoring of portfolio.
- Developing processes for the Project Management Office (PMO) and ensuring that business processes
are followed.
- Tracking and maintaining status dashboards against project baselines.
- Driving delivery satisfaction with key business stakeholders and keeping constant communication with
senior management and appropriate stakeholders.

Requirements:

- 4 or 5 yrs in a Project Coordinator role is ideal
- Experience with Microsoft Project, experience working with project dashboards, has ability to complete financial analysis, critical thinking ability and strong Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint & Word
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Power BI, exposure to IT based projects or IT delivery is preferred (but we can train on Power BI)
- Knowledge of Agile (example: Jira and/or Confluence) but Waterfall could be acceptable
- Experience with budgets (accruals, invoices and basic accounting)
- Someone looking for development and progress into project management, possibly someone looking to pursue PMP (or other) designation
- Soft skills: strong verbal & written communication, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, can work independently and manage own time/deadlines
