The qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting the Executive Director, Global Head of Supplier Diversity.

The candidate will be required to support the following functions:
• Manage the Diversity Database (controlled by a third party supplier), which includes:
o Supplier Registration
o Extracting Reports
o Training Sourcing Managers and others on the database
• Act as a liaison between diverse suppliers & Sourcing Managers and conduct Supplier Diversity pre-screening meetings
• Track supplier diversity metrics
• Assist with organizing internal supplier diversity events
• Back up Executive Director when out of office
• Conduct on-going meetings with Sourcing Managers to
o Discover potential opportunities to engage new suppliers
o Share information on diverse suppliers that meet criteria for Sourcing Managers’ upcoming RFPs
• Conduct due diligence process with potential diverse suppliers for bidding opportunities
• Attend local diversity related events (daytime & evening events)
• Provide support with assisting with a global compliance initiative
• Assist with Sourcing related activities when needed

Required Skills:
• Experience with interacting with suppliers and the ability to conduct meetings with suppliers frequently
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail oriented
• Excellent data management skills
• Excellent computer skills - advance level Excel, Microsoft Word and Knowledge of PowerPoint a plus
• Able to work individually with little direction as well as in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment and learn quickly
• Excellent communication skills including strong written and verbal skills.
• Good interpersonal skills – can interact well with people of all levels
• Working knowledge of the Ariba sourcing system is preferred but not required
