Job Description
Job Title: Construction Project Administrator
Location: Atlanta, GA
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Project Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction project management and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with project planning and scheduling
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Track project expenses and prepare reports for management
- Prepare and submit project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and purchase orders
- Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices
- Maintain project records, including plans, specifications, and correspondence
- Assist with project closeout, including final inspections, punch lists, and warranty documentation
- Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining project files
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in construction management or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in construction project administration or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of construction contracts, change orders, and purchase orders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
