We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Project Administrator to join our dynamic team at a leading engineering company specializing in antennas and radio frequency (RF) systems. This role is critical in managing both R&D and production contracts, ensuring project teams are well-informed and projects remain on track. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring technical expertise to the table, and drive projects that range from prototype developments to large-scale production orders.
Salary: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Construct and oversee project plans and budgets, facilitating key decision-making processes.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of project details and manage related documentation for contractual, technical, and quality standards.
- Organize the project calendar and schedule all related project meetings while documenting the minutes.
- Simultaneously manage multiple project demands and balance conflicting priorities effectively.
- Track and address project issues promptly, ensuring resolution in alignment with stakeholder needs.
- Prepare detailed cost and schedule proposals to secure new programs key to strategic pursuits.
- Enhance program communication by maintaining comprehensive project files.
- Brief upper management on project status, challenges, and achievements regularly.
- Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) by coordinating with the Contracts and Finance departments.
- Allocate resources across a portfolio of projects, maximizing efficiency and outcomes.
- Undertake additional tasks as needed to support project and organizational goals.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Residence in Colorado preferred or willingness to relocate.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication skills, adept in both written and verbal forms, including impactful presentation creation and delivery.
- Proven ability to thrive in a self-motivated, minimally supervised environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 3 years’ relevant project administration experience.
- Capability to identify cost and schedule risks or opportunities and engage appropriate technical resources.
- Inquisitive nature, with a continuous drive to pursue and solve new and challenging problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to multidisciplinary engineering projects, particularly in R&D environments.
- Experience with FAR proposal activities and knowledge of federal procurement processes.
