Programmer Trainee

Value Added Reseller or IT Vendor that works in cloud based software systems seeks a Programmer Trainee.  Company does 100% of their business in the commercial down town Honolulu Marketplace.  They are looking for someone that has come right out of School with a Degree in Computer Science.  Someone that loves to sit and code all day.  They will work downtown in the company office half of the day and then spend the other half of the day at a large downtown clients office.  Being that they will have to work at a clients site they will have to have excellent verbal communication skills and dress well and be very presentable.  Someone with that downtown Bishop Street look and feel.  Because they are at the customers site they will also have to communicate directly with the client about possible changes that will need to be considered with the application.  So this position is kind of like a software programmer/business software analyst.  Some skills in coding can come from many different areas like: Java, Java Applet, Java Android mobile apps, C, C++, PHP Advanced in SQL, Perl, HTML, XML, and CSS and .NET and many others.  If someone just has a few of these background but has the ability to learn new languages that will be okay as well.   The Computer Science degree with the software application development orientation is what is mostly important.  The company is willing to help anyone pick up Certs as they progress in the position.  Since the company is a VAR (Value Added Reseller) they are very aggressive about adopting the newest and latest technology so the position can be really fun for a true tech type.
