Job Description
- SCOPE of WORK
4.1 Programmer / Software Developer, Intermediate (Level 2)
- Modernize NRD (frontend + backend): Upgrade both user-facing and server-side components of the NRD using current technologies to improve usability, integration, and provide a seamless experience across devices.
- Technical implementation plan: Create a detailed roadmap with project phases, schedules, milestones, resource assignments, and risk management strategies for the modernization effort.
- Deployment package: Gather all required software, configuration files, documentation, and automated scripts for launching the new NRD, including instructions for setup, validation, and rollback procedures.
- Performance and security testing: Conduct thorough tests for speed, reliability, and security, document results, resolve issues, and confirm alignment with DND/CAF data protection standards.
- Complete technical documentation: Prepare organized, detailed documentation for architecture, code, APIs, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance to support developers and CAF TG personnel.
- Knowledge transfer: Deliver structured training, workshops, and resources (manuals, FAQs, tutorials) to help the CAF Transition Group team independently support and maintain the modernized NRD.
