Our government client is seeking a Programmer Software Developer to join their team on a hybrid basis in Ottawa, ON. To be considered for this position, you will need 10 years of experience in providing SampleManager LIMS Software consultation services. Keep on reading to learn more.

About you
To be considered, you will need:

• 10+ years of experience within the last 15 years providing SampleManager LIMS Software consultation services across a minimum of 5 projects
• Experience implementing the Integration Manager add-on in SampleManager on at least 3 projects within the last 10 years
• Experience configuring workflows using SampleManager’s Workflow feature on at least 3 projects in the past 5 years
• Experience implementing the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) add-on in SampleManager on a minimum of 2 projects in the last 10 years

About the role
If hired, you will:

• Provide expertise and assistance in migrating CFIA’s customized workflows from SampleManager 12 to SampleManager 21
• Maximize the use of SampleManager 21’s native features and assist in implementing business requirements while enhancing automation
• Minimize the use of CFIA-specific customizations in SampleManager 21
• Implement custom coding in SampleManager 21 and correct errors by reviewing configurations and code
• Assist with integrating the Integration Manager add-on into SampleManager 12 & 21
• Provide expertise on instrument integration in SampleManager 21
• Assist in implementing the SQC and other add-ons in SampleManager 12 & 21
• Advise on potential future improvements to SampleManager 21 that would benefit CFIA
• Provide status updates on ongoing development and raise concerns to Project Manager, Team Lead, and clients
