JOB SUMMARY
The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of all aspects of a product’s success, from initial concept through market introduction. This involves facilitating communications between multi-functional team members, suppliers, customers and prospects, regulators, and management to ensure timelines and budget goals are met, and the product can be manufactured per required quality guidelines.

SALARY
$100k- $140k (commensurate with experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leads cross-functional teams in the development and sustaining of power amplifier products utilizing a formal process.
  • Participates in the business case justification, evaluates marketing and sales requirements, prepares technical requirements, conducts ROI analysis, and recommends direction to executive management.
  • Creates comprehensive Program and/or Project Plans and executes programs/projects per approved scope, schedule, and budget. Justifies and communicates changes promptly.
  • Communicates with external stakeholders such as technical OEMs and end users; and internal stakeholders such as design engineers and senior management.
  • Schedules and leads team meetings, and ad hoc meetings, as required, in coordinating project activities and managing project issues.
  • Manages project communications including meeting minutes, monthly updates, communications meetings, and project Phase Reviews.
  • Prepares functional specifications, establishes design standards, and develops program and/or project schedules.
  • Collaborates with the procurement department to evaluate “make vs. buy” decisions and to identify optimal suppliers.
  • Provides support to the regulatory certification process with the Analogic Compliance and Regulatory Affairs organization.
  • Leads the Program decision-making process and brings closure to open issues.
  • Maintains current program review documentation and provides frequent progress reports to senior management.
  • Assists in project team member career and professional development.
  • Contributes to the creation and management of long-term business goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of program management experience with the development of electro-mechanical capital equipment products
  • Hands-on development experience with X-ray imaging systems, MR power subsystems, and software a plus
  • Must understand a broad range of business skills including market analysis, sales and marketing, accounting, communications, and regulatory matters
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills to assess situations and drive decision-making
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project
  • MS/BS in engineering, or a science discipline; PMI certification is a plus
