The Program Manager will lead our client's efforts in achieving operational excellence and maximizing value delivery through streamlined program management practices. This role entails overseeing the seamless integration and coordination of all customer-related activities, consolidating and reporting customer-specific KPIs, and ensuring optimal program delivery through effective cost control and human capital management. Collaborating closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Delivery, Supply and Logistics, Technical Support, Engineering, Account Management, and Drone Pilots, the Program Manager will play a pivotal role in driving successful program delivery and achieving our client's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and integrate all Program-related work performed by different departments groups
  • Ensure alignment of activities to achieve program objectives effectively and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive program plan encompassing all projects and work deliverables related to the customer
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
  • Consolidate and report program-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring seamless aggregation of performance metrics across the program and delivering cohesive reports for comprehensive end-to-end visibility
  • Develop and monitor program budget and expenditures
  • Perform Actual vs Budget variance analysis and forecast to completion analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Proactively address issues to minimize the impact on program delivery
  • Lead problem-solving efforts to address challenges and obstacles encountered during program execution
  • Establish and maintain program governance framework
  • Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives
  • Provide regular updates on program status, milestones, and risks
  • Workforce Planning: Assessing staffing needs for the program and ensuring adequate resources are available to meet project requirements
  • Participating in the recruitment process by identifying skill requirements, interviewing candidates, and making hiring recommendations
  • Identifying training needs, coordinating training programs, and facilitating skill development opportunities for program team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus
  • PMP or PgM certification
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience as a Program Manager in a customer-facing role, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale, multi-phase initiatives with budgets exceeding $10M, preferably within the Technology, Energy, Utilities, or Manufacturing industries.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to guide team members and influence stakeholders to drive progress and successfully complete work across the program.
  • Flexibility in personal communication approach to successfully engage, collaborate, and build effective work relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, MS Suite, etc.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to clarify complex concepts and situations, simplifying them into understandable components for diverse audiences
  • Experience in human capital and performance management for a team of 20+ employees, including overseeing recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
