Position: Program Manager - Black Belt (Level 3) x 2 positions - JP38966

Duration: 12 months with potential extension

Location: Remote for now and later Downtown Toronto

Job Description:

Black Belt Requirements:

  • Black Belt Certification (proof of certification and practical application of skill sets is required)
  • Minimum 3 years active experience as a process engineer
  • Leading project teams in the execution and delivery of process improvement initiatives using the LSS methodology
  • Building effective relationships with key business partners within and across business units
  • Delivering financial and customer benefits to business units that result in the achievement of business unit target.
  • Ongoing prioritization of project initiatives to ensure direct linkage to Business Units KPI’s and achievement of continuous improvement savings Monthly reporting of Savings within the designated project management system.
  • Recommending solutions to improve quality and eliminate waste and leading the project team to execute on recommendations Independently lead medium to large or strategic projects
  • Prioritizing and managing their own workload in order to deliver results Supporting the team in their LSS Certification Roadmap (Green and/or Black Belt certifications if/when a certified Black Belt) Strategic thinker
  • Proven ability and demonstration of leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Strong learning agility, analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
