Professional Land Surveyor

Job Duties

• Lead and oversee the survey department, including workload management and process improvement
• Perform field work including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking
• Manage projects from proposal development through delivery
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Establish effective coordination with project managers and design staff
• Develop strategies to grow the survey department client base
• Improve efficiency in field and office survey operations
• Complete complex survey projects including ALTA/ACSM land title surveys

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license with 5+ years of experience
• Proficiency with GPS equipment, robotic total stations, and specialized survey instruments
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office software
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in surveying, engineering, or related field
• Project management experience with proposal and cost estimate development
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel to project sites
• Experience with ALTA/ACSM land title surveys and subdivision plats preferred
• Experience working with municipalities, counties, and state agencies valued
