About the Company:

Our client is a food manufacturing company successfully operating in Etobicoke, ON. They seeking a reliable Production Team Member to support the preparation, production, packaging, and quality control of food products.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and food products according to recipes, production schedules, and procedures
  • Measure and load raw ingredients into cooking and processing equipment
  • Operate and monitor ovens, fryers, boilers, cookers, and other production machinery
  • Monitor cooking temperatures, times, and equipment settings to maintain product consistency
  • Inspect ingredients and finished products for quality and report any issues
  • Set up production stations and assist with changing date codes and labels
  • Transfer, package, and label finished products accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain production records and report equipment or production issues
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, workstations, and production areas
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, health and safety, and company procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to maintain an efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience; food manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Strong English communication skills and ability to follow written instructions and recipes
  • Previous experience with production line setup, jars/lids, date codes, or labels is an asset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements, including bending and twisting
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work around noise, heat, and machinery
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team
