Production Support/Scheduler
POSITION: Production Support/Scheduler
DESCRIPTION: Using ERP system to activate and schedule work orders in accordance to capacity and customer’s delivery requirement. Employee will communicate with Master Scheduler/Small & Large Parts Manager(s) help facilitate communication with customer service to give completion dates and also track expedited orders.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of one year experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop setting
• Experience with ERP system preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
• Must have reliable transportation and work overtime as needed
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Ability to understand capacity charts and level load work centers
• Excel and Word software experience
• Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
• Problem solving skills a must
• Strong communication skills and a good eye to detail
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Check travelers to determine what can move on to production and what needs to go through programming
• Print Set-Up sheets for supply jobs that don’t need programming review
• Evaluate current dispatch and stage machines accordingly
• Determine location to set critical deburr jobs based on dispatch work dates and/or due dates
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
