What you will be doing as the Production Support Supervisor:

• Oversee production support operations to ensure materials, processes, and workflows are properly executed to support efficient and accurate production.
• Supervise personnel, coordinate daily activities, and ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote quality, safety, and continuous improvement while supporting on-time production performance.
• Lead and maintain an “on floor” presence for the Production Support team.
• Set priorities, assign work, and monitor daily workflow.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate employees; identify and address training needs.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Oversee label creation, cartridge/container preparation, filling, labeling, and packaging.
• Ensure support materials meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Review batch tickets and troubleshoot discrepancies in finished products.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor processes to ensure accurate, high-quality production output.
• Oversee team compliance with operational and safety procedures.
• Identify and resolve production issues related to scheduling, staffing, equipment, or quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to resolve operational challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company standards

What you will need as the Production Support Supervisor:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or related field preferred
• 3-6 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment required
• Experience working in production support, packaging, or chemical/ink manufacturing environments preferred, including hands-on experience with light machinery, labeling, filling, and packaging operations
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop production support personnel
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet production schedules
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to lift or move heavier materials (up to 75 lbs) with assistance or mechanical equipment
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver pallets, drums, and material containers using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, drum handlers)
