Job Description

We’re seeking a hands-on, people-focused Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations on the fabrication floor of a modern beef processing facility. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who values safety, quality, and people development and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

As the Production Supervisor, you’ll oversee operations across chuck, rib, loin, and packaging areas, ensuring consistent execution of production schedules while maintaining compliance with all food safety and regulatory standards. You’ll coach and develop front-line employees, drive continuous improvement, and play a key role in building a positive, performance-driven culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, train, and motivate hourly employees to deliver consistent results in safety, quality, and production.

  • Oversee fabrication line performance and ensure production meets yield and throughput targets.

  • Enforce safety programs and conduct regular audits to maintain a proactive, safety-first culture.

  • Partner with QA and USDA inspectors to ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.

  • Communicate clearly across departments and shifts to coordinate production goals and resources.

  • Monitor and report on key metrics such as yield, downtime, labor utilization, and waste.

  • Drive engagement by recognizing achievements and creating opportunities for employee growth.

  • Support the development of Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives on the fabrication floor.


What You Bring

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in meat or food manufacturing (beef fabrication strongly preferred).

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse production teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid understanding of beef fabrication, trimming, and packaging operations.

  • Working knowledge of GMPs, USDA regulations, and food safety programs (HACCP, SQF, etc.).

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Animal Science, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
