Are you a Production Superintendent/Supervisor with experience in petroleum refining, oilseeds processing, or renewable fuels production operations, including Maintenance and supervisory experience?

We are partnering with an Industry Leader that is undertaking a major expansion of its Renewable Diesel business. One of their top priorities is to bring on a Production Superintendent for a key role in its state-of-the-art production facility. This plant will remove contaminants from renewable feedstocks such as soybean oil, waste animal fats, and Distillers Corn Oil in preparation for conversion to Renewable Diesel, a lower carbon drop-in replacement for fossil-fuel diesel that is in increasing demand.

About the Position, and How You Will Make a Difference: The Production Superintendent will lead and ensure the safe overall operations of the unit and a team of 75 employees and contractors, including direct supervision of 5 shift supervisors. This includes ensuring that process plans, operating targets, and maintenance plans are being met across all shifts. You'll work closely with the Plant Manager to capitalize on short- and long-term opportunities and problem resolution to ensure safe production and unit optimization, and drive continuous Operations Excellence initiatives across all operations personnel.

The Education and Experience You Will Bring:
* 8+ years of refinery or renewable fuels operations background
* General knowledge of Maintenance protocols
* Supervisory experience relative to oilseeds processing or fuels production operations, and oilseeds extraction and/or renewable fuels processing is preferred
* Experience working in an agricultural, food, or chemical plant is preferred
* Minimum of a High School diploma is required
