Reporting to the Operations Manager, and with responsibility for the oversight, mentoring, and coaching of the Team (Shift) Leaders, this role will have a direct impact on the successful attainment of our safety, quality, and production goals. What You Will Do In Your Role

• Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, production, problem solving, and technical and interpersonal communication skills.
• Facilitate team development and growth, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and performance management.
• Partner with plant leadership to enhance facility performance and metrics - lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and develop innovative practices, methods and procedures that add value for the facility
• Drive improvement through influential leadership by demonstrating strong oral/written communication skills, knowledge of basic accounting concepts, analytical and critical thinking skills, team building, and effective problem solving.
• Spend time on the floor engaging with employees and oversee plant operations as appropriate.
• This role will have to fill in for the Team Leaders from time to time.

Requirements:

• Supervisory or leadership experience with multiple direct reports in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Previous success growing capability, driving accountability, and building trust with your team.

Experience with a CMMS system (such as MP2)
