Production Manager
Overview
Our client, a respected food manufacturing organization, is seeking a Production Manager for their Wisconsin facility. Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations with focus on safety, quality and efficiency
- Drive operational excellence through KPI tracking and performance management
- Develop and mentor production supervisors and team members
- Manage production planning and scheduling using ERP systems
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
- Optimize processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams
- Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years production management experience in manufacturing operations
- Proven leadership abilities in fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with ERP systems and production planning
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- Food/beverage industry experience preferred

Physical Requirements
- Up to 12 hours standing/walking in production environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Capable of climbing ladders and accessing production areas
- Work in various environmental conditions including wet and humid environments
- Must be comfortable in food production facility setting
Reporting Structure
- Reports to: Plant Manager
- Direct Reports: Production Supervisors and Team Members
Our client is seeking a candidate who can make an immediate impact in the first 6 months by establishing effective production planning, building key relationships, and implementing performance management systems. Within 12 months, the successful candidate will be optimizing processes, developing a strong supervisory team, and building high-performing production teams.
