Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations with focus on safety, quality and efficiency
• Drive operational excellence through KPI tracking and performance management
• Develop and mentor production supervisors and team members
• Manage production planning and scheduling using ERP systems
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Optimize processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams
• Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years production management experience in manufacturing operations
• Proven leadership abilities in fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
• Food/beverage industry experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Up to 12 hours standing/walking in production environment
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Capable of climbing ladders and accessing production areas
• Work in various environmental conditions including wet and humid environments
• Must be comfortable in food production facility setting

Reporting Structure

• Reports to: Plant Manager
• Direct Reports: Production Supervisors and Team Members

Our client is seeking a candidate who can make an immediate impact in the first 6 months by establishing effective production planning, building key relationships, and implementing performance management systems. Within 12 months, the successful candidate will be optimizing processes, developing a strong supervisory team, and building high-performing production teams.
