Production Manager
Job Description
We are working with a rapidly growing, 7th-generation Australian beef company expanding into the U.S. to identify a Production Manager to support operations at their Missouri facility. The successful candidate will be a hands-on operations leader with a strong foundation in food manufacturing, ready to take ownership of production performance and help build out the next phase of growth. The ideal candidate brings a strong floor presence, a leadership by example mentality, and the ability to drive execution, accountability, and culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do- Lead day-to-day production operations within a growing beef processing facility
- Partner closely with the Plant Manager, QA leadership, and operations teams to drive safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance
- Help build and establish second shift operations, including hiring, training, onboarding, and developing the production team
- Drive accountability across production while maintaining a strong culture of ownership, communication, and teamwork
- Monitor production performance, labor efficiency, throughput, and operational KPIs while identifying opportunities for improvement
- Partner cross functionally with quality, sanitation, warehouse, and plant leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operationsSupport startup and expansion initiatives as the facility grows into additional processing capabilities

- Lead by example in a highly hands-on environment where flexibility and ownership are critical
- A hands-on production leader with strong food manufacturing experience, ideally within meat, protein, dairy, or other regulated food environments
- A proven people leader with experience managing teams in fast-paced production settings
- Comfortable building teams, developing talent, and helping launch or stabilize new operations or shifts
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing operations, production flow, safety, and regulatory environments
- Flexible and adaptable, with openness to long-term second shift leadership as the facility continues to scale
