Job Description

Responsibilities
  • The Production Engineer will be held accountable for being able to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Work closely with technology experts to learn the plant process and equipment.
  • Provide chemical engineering input into design changes including process safety and process control.
  • Develop and update Operating Procedures and training materials, and lead training.
  • Lead solving of complex problems related to process, mechanical, control systems, equipment integrity and other disciplines.
  • Lead development of production plans including operation scheduling and operation conditions.
  • Relocation provided. $100K-$125K.

Requirements
  • The Production Engineer will have a BS degree with an engineering major (chemical or mechanical).
  • 4+ years of Production / Process Engineering experience in a complex chemical processing, petrochemical, refinery or industrial gas plant.
  • Experience with one of the following equipment: distillation tower/columns, separation tanks, heat exchanger or reactors preferred.
  • Some experience supervising operators or other technical personnel is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
