Production Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- The Production Engineer will analyze existing production processes and identify opportunities for optimization to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase output.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain product quality consistency.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees and mitigate potential hazards.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs for production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to production issues in a timely manner, troubleshoot technical problems, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, performance metrics, and safety records. Generate reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices, incorporating new technologies, and fostering a culture of innovation within the production team.
- Relocation provided. $100K-$120K.
- The Production Engineer will have a BS degree in chemical engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing or process engineering.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices in chemical manufacturing.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
